what does it sound like?
some people told me it's rather oldschool electronics, but first of all it's not too humble to compare with some legends and myths, is it? And second - it's not the very best comparison nowadays, if you know what I mean. But anyway yes, I think it's the closest one.
I'm not confused using some 80's sounds. While I'm not representing the youngest generation, I still think one can find really inspiring sounds amongs them. Even if they sound dauby at the first sight or "sound like 20 years old" as critic once wrote.
On the other hand I use those plucked, pinked, tapped and knocked sounds (like TB-303 or kalimba for example) - they are almost perfect to put them straight into the rythm, they are making the rythm themselves. Some say they making the 'melody' but they are wrong. I don't percept those sounds as chromatic instruments, when putting them into the mix.
style (er.. what?)
I don't know where to put it. It would be no problem if I knew what all those genres mean. I don' know what is the difference between 'electronic' and 'electronica', don't know where 'ambient' starts and 'downtempo' ends. Let's say it's electronic but it's like we say just 'flower' for a daisy.
influences
Simple, repetitive themes. I like their structure, still doing too much worthless mess. Working on it. Sometimes it's pathetic and the mess is what finally remains.
